Dear colleagues,
It is our privilege and pleasure to invite you to the fellowship program of Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo surgeons (IAGES) to be held in the historic city of Bhagalpur. The IAGES is the largest body of laparoscopic surgeons of nearly 7000 members in the country.

The objective of the society is to provide friendship, fellowship, sharing of knowledge and skill development. It provides education and leadership in Gastrointestinal and endoscopic surgery. FIAGES is the flagship course of our association designed to enable the practicing surgeons to learn the fundamentals of laparoscopic surgery in consistent & structured format and to evaluate their understanding and technical skills.

This is a 3 days course comprising of didactic lectures on a range of minimal access surgery topics, live demonstrations, endo trainer exercises including knotting & suturing techniques. At the end an assessment of the knowledge and skill is made to certify that the candidate has demonstrated knowledge fundamental to safe use of laparoscopic surgery. The entire course is conducted by our eminent and experienced national teaching faculty.

We welcome you to the ever growing family of IAGES as membership is essential for certification. However postgraduates and non-members are welcome to attend the course without certification.

IAGES FELLOWSHIP COURSE

IAGES will Conduct a 3 day fellowship course in Laparoscopy from 31st August, 1st & 2nd September 2018 at Tapaswi Multispecialty Hospital Pvt.Ltd Bhagalpur. The course will be balanced mix of didactic lectures by eminent faculty with ample time for discussion, video presentation,open house session, symposia and direct informal interactions of group with eminent faculty (meet the professor). Participants will get ample time on endo trainer under close guidance and supervision of faculty to improve their hand eye co-ordination by structured exercise. Besides the allotted time there will be liberal availability of endo trainer at other times.
The objective of the course are to impart/update theoretical knowledge by close interaction and improving hand eye co- ordination. There will be many unique feature in the course to make it more useful, convenient and memorable for you.

Step 3: Send this with DD to the Conference Secretariat and receive the receipt either by post or by Person.
Step 4: Make your own Travel and accommodation arrangements. Call Co-ordinator for any help. Exam Category candidates may have to stay late on Sunday evening for viva and hence advised to plan return travel accordingly.
Step 5: Full attendance is mandatory for all candidates for appearing exams and viva for all participants.
Step 6: After the successful completion of course, attend the IAGES Annual Conference at Bhubneshwar registration Feb 2019 to receive the fellowship certificate convocation ceremony.
